The film-makers Dilemma!
When you make your own promotional films and films for websites, it makes sense to use them extensively on your own website - the better the film, the better the image you create - that is what we tell our customers and we absolutely believe it. But here's a thought - customer feedback is telling us that because we produce great films for websites and use them to present powerful messages for ourselves over the internet some potential customers in St.Helens, Liverpool, Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria and North Wales start to think they can't afford us. So just in case that is what you are thinking, you need to know that most of our promotional films, training films and films for websites cost less than £400 and for a limited period only, if you place an order for over £375 we will produce your own personal profile film free of charge - 2 - 3 minutes - ideal for improving your Linked In Profile or beefing up your social media pages. So you can afford us and we will keep it that way. Ring for details.
Once in a while you get a testimonial that says everything you want and MORE! - one that's big enough and important enough to make you disturb the perfect Feng Shui of your website's beautifully crafted home page. And here it is in the form of a letter from Dr. Brian Irving - Manager of the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. He commissioned the project we produced on a Hedge Laying Competition at Burgh by Sands, near Carlisle on 18th February, 2012. And he loved it!
If you watch the film at the top of this page and read Brian's letter you probably know all you need to know about Open Door Multimedia - the other 40 pages are just added trimmings. Here it is:-
"Open Door Multimedia
We asked ODM to provide us with a record of our 9th Annual Hedgelaying Competition centred within the visually stunning Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Our brief was simple, just a record of the day inclusive of the technique, the competition, what the judges were looking for and what the competitors thought about keeping their local skills alive. What we got from Howard far exceeded our expectations in every way, in fact he could probably write a book on the subject.
Thorough research and understanding has underpinned the extremely professional documentary style approach. This has produced revealing and important insights into what is a unique breed of skilled craftsmen and women working within North Cumbria. The sound and visual experience is sumptuous with full HD rendering and Dolby stereo sound. Colour balancing is faultless as are the transitions from one scene to another.
That said, I work on the principal that you get what you pay for but ODM buck that trend and then some. For a tiny outlay you get a high quality, fully researched, beautifully filmed and edited product to be proud of.
I am so pleased we found out about what Howard has to offer, yes Howard and ODM ‘walk the walk".
Dr. Brian Irving
